Dear #NotAllMen Men.

Dear #NotAllMen men, let’s not treat conversations with women about their generalised experiences as accusations about all men.

They aren’t.

They are, however, prevalent enough to be generalised experiences of a large proportion of #AllPeople

Rather than treating stories as accusations, why not treat them as invitations. Invitations to discuss, learn and participate in future solutions.

Why not turn the moments into aspirations — joint-aspirations of a world where people feel safe, supported and cared about, no matter where they are or who they are.

Rather than treating these invitations to act as a burden, why not treat them as a privilege? The privilege to have the opportunity to one day, be able to be part of an active solution. Part of the collective aspiration that we all have for ourselves, our loved ones and hopefully everyone else — that they have access to a healthy, happy, free, safe, well-supported life.

#NotAllMen do terrible things, it’s true.

Unfortunately, #NotAllPeople are living the dream — some people are living in nightmares.

If we have a chance to create environments, people and moments that relieve people of those nightmares, we should take them.
